The FP RED for the 1990-1999 Eclipse/Talon/Laser, much like it's little FP GREEN brother, is a Mitsu/Garrett hybrid. The FP RED combines a modified TD06 compressor housing and 7cm2 turbine housing with a clipped TD06H turbine wheel and a big ass Garrett compressor wheel.
The FP RED has proven to be a major contender among the ranks of the fastest DSMs in the world. Pruven Performance went 9.90 @ 142mph on an off the shelf FP RED, Curt Brown has run a best of 9.87 @ 145.7 with his FP RED, and Dale Nardozzi has run 10.275 @ 132.75mph using an FP RED in his VR4 Galant! All these were WITHOUT NITROUS
The FP RED is a drag race turbo, capable of producing in excess of 600 horsepower. To make that much power, and go as fast as it will take you, your car needs to be well prepared with engine, fuel, electronics, and safety equipment.
